flash scan
Theflash scan
command returns the current firmware installed on both the card and the system.
It has the following option:
-v
(Optional): Verbose output displays additional information including the MAC address.
To run theflash scan
command in verbose mode, enter the following:
sudo xbutil flash scan -v
You should see an output similar to the example below. In this example, the deployment shell name is
xilinx_u200_xdma_201830_1
, the timestamp is
0x000000005bece8e1
, and the BMC version is 3.1. In this output, DSA is referring to the deployment shell, TS is the timestamp, and BMC is referring to the Satellite Controller.
