SDSoCDevelopment Environment Requirements and Setup
The 2019.1SDSoC™development environment software release consists of theSDx™IDE and command-line tools for developing and delivering hardware accelerated embedded processor applications using standard programming languages.
TheSDSoCenvironment also includes theVivado® Design Suite, which is used for programming the target devices and for developing custom hardware platforms.
TIP:The version of the
Vivadotools installed by the
SDxinstallation is the standard version of the
Vivado Design Suitethat can be installed as a separate product. If you are using both the
SDSoCenvironment and the
Vivadotools just install the
SDSoCenvironment as described here.
Supported Hardware
- ZC702, ZC706, and ZedBoard development boards featuring theZynq®-7000 SoC
- ZCU102, ZCU104, and ZCU106 development board featuring theZynq® UltraScale+™ MPSoC
- Additional platforms are available from partners

Note:You will need cabling for communicating with the board (for example, USB or Ethernet cables).
